Our local shopping arcade! Yey….That local shopping arcade, where almost everything was closed…Pigeon feeding ground as they worship them here.Another local bigger market, which quite a lot of shops. Kind of like a local bazar.We passed a private gentlemen club. It looks nice compared to what’s outside of it…Finally we found a safe place to eat.Amazing grilled fish with black rice
Much better than our local supermarket and it has air conditioning!Rigshaw (aka Tuk Tuk) taxi to hotel. Bargained down to ₹ 200.Marriott 5 star Hotel 🏩. Home for two weeks…Our “luxury” hotel. It is a paradise compared to the environment outside. Poverty and trash outside of hotel limits.Very confusing red lights on the crossroad. Families riding in three on motorbikes!Rigshaw station by a metro station.Pedestrian crossing with a fence…. Good-luck crossing it!Huda City metro station.Part of Delhi Metro scheme.If you can decipher this scheme you are in luck… They do have english one on the other side of the platform… across the tracks.Block close to our “ghetto”.
