Oklahoma State Capitol was undergoing renovation to our disappointment. Last time when I was visiting Washington DC Capitol it was the same!

All parking lot around is marked for Senate House and Press. Even the barber has a spot!

While driving downtown there was an amazing view of downtown Oklahoma city.

We parked the car nearby center. Only for 2hrs

Myriad Botanical Gardens are impressive and nice to walk around. Also they are free of charge.

I saw this marking on a stone while going to the center. It is so true!

We were craving for real coffee, not that coca cola like warm liquid. We found Clarity Cafe. It was so cosy! It had an exposition of awesome paintings!

The public toilets are huge in USA. Basically you can dance in them or even have a nap on the floor.

Air force monument was a quick stop to take some pictures.

This wall Separates the Bricktown.

Bricktown has a very distinct architecture – all houses out of bricks and mostly red ones.

This canal looked awesome for a drink, but unfortunately we had no time as it was 15 min left to parking ticket expiry.

American Olympic games memorial from 1989.

These benches looked awesome with figures carved in metal.

Oklahoma Thunder basketball arena seems a big thing here!

These flags were all over the place!

Walmart has a wall of missing kids. Quite few of them.

I loved that sign out of coca cola cans packages!

The route had so much green today!

Lucille’s historical highway gas station was a quick stop on our way.
We have stopped at Stafford Air & Space Museum just for quick photos, but ended up going in. Entrance fee for adults .

This mass destruction weapon looms scary!

We shortly stopped at The Glancy Motor hotel. It looks like this hotel is still working, but they should really clean the windows. Also they should add that missing letter!

Route 66 museum we have skipped as the entrance was . Basically it is all the places we saw or going to see, so no point. Instead we just took pictures from outside. That big sign is just monumental.

We all were so hungry, so we have stopped at Tumbleweed Grill. Once we left the car the dogs attacked us! The bigger one jumped at me, so I just put my bag in front in case he bites. It turned out they closed one hour earlier! Such a waste of time!

We went looking for another place to eat. Windmill restaurant was a place of our only hot meal today. It was a good choice. Big portions of grilled meat for -14.

Conoco Tower Station was really beautiful, especially in the light of setting sun!

We followed the Route 66 and then it suddenly ended again. Not much of warning signs. Had to turn back and go from another side.

This place was scary. Broken car windows and abandoned house. We decided to take pictures from the car.

Philips 66 gas station we took out of the sun was setting.

We saw a lot of wind mills next to the road in Texas as well as increasing numbers of casinos.

280 miles (448 km) today.
We booked the Days Inn again, just before coming to town. It was for 4 people. We really liked this chain as they always have microwave, great breakfast and a pool.
