Petra by Night is an event held on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. Visitors walk from the visitor center towards the Treasury, guided by candlelight. The walk takes you through the Siq, with towering rock formations on either side. The evening air is cool and still, and the only sounds are the soft crunch of the gravel path and the whisper of the desert breeze.
