Today was a bit crazy.
First we went to see Lomo de La Cruz. Beautiful views of Holguin.
We lost our “highway” and ended up in a complete pueblo. No road basically. Locals were starring at hour car and even jumping from their chairs to see it. Finally when we made to our asfalt “highway” there was people along the road hich-hicking, selling fruits and cheese.
Not much to see in Holguin. Reminds me of Mumbai in India just very clean here.
The views were stunning. People taking horse taxi and texting on their smart phones and people super friendly.
Taxis here with horses, which ones locals use a pot.
Locals tried to sell us cigars and stuff, but we refused everything. We figured it is better to say we are Lithuanians than Londoners.
We stopped to buy some fruits in one place 4 pineapples medium size cost us 40CUP, something like 1.5 Cup. In another place while buying papaya we’ve got scammed instead 26CUP we’ve paid 40, which is fine, not big loss.
We had an amazing dinner at restaurant in Trinidad called Obbatala. Food was amazing, cocktails good but not strong and desert so so. Service was also so so, but totally recommend for eating.
Cocktails 3CUP, good pork chops 8.50CUP.
I also fell from stairs. Luckily nothing broken… But knee in pain.
Now having Cuba libres to kill the pain.
