I am officially stuck in Beijing! I didn’t manage to get train ticket that I wanted and there was only soft sleeper tickets for 770RBM, which was too much for me. So I was trying my luck to buy a bus ticket. I had to go through entire city to buy a bus ticket! Also, there was a big risk that I won’t get it as well.
It took me some time to find the bus station counter where I can buy a ticket. First, I wondered to arrival area, where they are scanning every person entering and leaving. Later I came to the right place and I have bought the ticket. I had to show on my ipod touch that I want a ticket to 28 of July to Shanghai as she couldn’t understand me. She gave me the ticket and I’ve paid 280 RBM and was heading home. Only when I left the station Iooked at the ticket and saw it was 26th of July, which is today and in 2 hours! If I would run I would barely make it! I ran back and stood to the same queue and to the same cashier. I showed her that it is a wrong date. She is asking me to give a receipt, but she didn’t give me any! She insists for receipt and I just burst shouting that she didn’t give me any receipt and I just was here, surely she remember me! Suddenly she changed the ticket and gave me the right one. I was heading to hostel happy. At least I have a ticket back to Shanghai and time to explore Beijing.
